Long stay Health Insurance
Hi - now that weve both retired we're looking into visiting our son in Oz for longer periods. Any recommendations for long stay health insurance for visitors? I'm 62, in good health, husband is 64, just diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis which is being controlled by medication. Thanks

Re: Long stay Health Insurance
If you find one, can you post it on here please? I was looking for my parents for when they visit and the best I could find was only for 3 months x

Re: Long stay Health Insurance
If they are from the UK they will be entitled to reciprocal Medicare, any necessary medical treatment. Check the Medicare website for what this covers. Otherwise longer stay holiday insurance should be available which will include health cover.
I just looked on travel supermarket .com for a trip from Monday until mid December for a 62 year old couple and it came up with 37 options.
