If you're coming to Vancouver you won't need anything more than you have for the UK. The weather's pretty much the same and it's like Spring here already!

To get the correct forms you have to enter that you currently reside in the UK in the CIC wizard.

I've personally found this year a breeze. But it did depend on being on the site at the right time I guess. This is third time lucky applying for the Canadian WHV for me though!

It should be on your kompass account home page, just under the header "My Application Status" and also on the top left of any messages from IEC.

Hopefully start the common law PR process this year. Dreading it though. Canadian visas are so time consuming and such a mess with all the bureaucracy and constantly changing rules!

You'll need an ACPO. Some people are also being asked for Canadian certificates if they've been in Canada for more than 6 months, but not all and the rule on this isn't clear. I'm personally waiting...

Also be aware if you were living in Victoria or Queensland they will require either a driving licence history check, or letter from the licencing authority confirming that you didn't hold a licence.
