Re: New in Parma

Re: Moans, groans, grunts and wheezes...

Re: Moans, groans, grunts and wheezes...

I should have started my (unpaid) job this morning at 7am, but instead I received a call last night at 10pm from the butcher to tell me that after all these months he hasn't received the details and...

Re: Moans, groans, grunts and wheezes...

Thanks a lot everyone! :fingerscrossed: The butcher has said that we'll try it for a while, he's kindly offered to pay at least my travel costs and said that in the future we'll see what happens. For...

Re: Moans, groans, grunts and wheezes...

Unfortunately he's said that he can't offer me a job or a salary, but he said if I still want to learn from him he's happy to teach me. I appreciate him doing it for me but I'm not sure realistically...

Just had an email from the job centre today. The butcher and I have been ready for weeks now, we've done our contracts and sent them in, in the mean time I'm in there often and building a good...

Re: Relocating with dogs - drive or fly?

I'd probably drive too, if I put my dog in the hold of a plane she'd probably spontaneously combust!

Re: Verification of Identity - UK Bank Account

Do you have someone who speaks Italian you can bring with you? They're likely to be more sympathetic this way rather than trying to get things done in English.

All of them told me the only way to...
