Thanks Bootle. We have no loans, limited controllable debt.

I wouldn't take a car in NYC; I'd probably get a rental or Zipcar for the occasional out-of-town(state?) trip.

I have one UWS nursery...

From what I can see (Trulia, Naked Apartments, PadMapper, StreetEasy etc.) an 2bd apartment walking distance from the Lincoln Center isn't completely impossible but I appreciate...

Definitely get two more.
I got caught out on this at the US Embassy. I had to get change from the guy selling the refreshments and pay £6(?) or so to use the machine in the lobby.

Also - are you allowed to check electronic items at security (outside, security hut)?

That was my experience some months back when I applied for my child's passport.

I'm currently assuming one week in USA, three weeks in UK.

The work is project management.

Effectively I would be an employee of the company which is USA-only.
