Re: Police Cert from Italy for IEC Visa. Advice needed.

French one is pretty easy and quick, I can confirm!
For Italy - if you live in Italy, you can go straight to the Procura and be done with it. Assuming you're not, the embassy will probably be...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I don't think you should be concerned! I had no address (apart from the mailing one) on ecas for the longest time, and I also got one a few hours before getting "decision made", it only read...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Good luck,

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Hey! Congrats on getting everything sorted out finally! the COPR indeed is a letter in the mailbox, then you need to take that and your passport and flagpole anywhere... your choice! :-) the...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

It should come soon! :-) it seems that London goes by the date your application was received in their office ( not the date that you apply at CIC) so - end of July for you, and it looks like they are...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I don't think it matters, if it's only for 2 weeks, because I don't think they'll try to contact you at that stage by phone (if even, it would be more when your file reaches London)...
Moving...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Indeed - a category was "added" in mine, with "current home address", and didn't have a "real address" with street name, postal code etc ( which my current mailing address, in Canada, has), but only...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

No - it means that they are from countries that require a visa to enter Canada. Typically non Europeans, studying in the UK, Scandinavia (London is also handling applications from the north! not only...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

I think most people keep on checking ecas every day, 5 times a day, or more - it's stressful. I did the same as laurenhannah - signed for the ecas tracker, and told myself not to check too much - but...

If you are from a visa exempt country, you can go with a tourist visa - no need to apply for it in advance ( in fact if you are not from a visa exempt and apply for a visitor visa, probably it will...

Re: Need a quick answer please :)

Also - if you are from a visa -exempt country ( which I suppose you are, but in case) - you won't have to submit your passport. Most likely, when London is ready to issue your PR, they will send it...
