That's a shame as I always thought Thetford was a nice town. Must be something to do with it having a link to 'Dads Army' :).

I read a bit about Thetford on a site called 'Chavtowns'.

I love the aroma of from the Green King IPA or maybe it's the sugar factory :).

Spent most of my time around Rougham,Great Ashfield,Rattlesden and Mildenhall. The area around Bury is very nice....

I'd like to take on life in North Norfolk but the prices are a bit high for what you get. Although the area is fantastic and I can see why the roads are blocked with tourists.

It's great to hear the reality of living out in the sticks of Norfolk and Suffolk. I know that the grind of living in what other people view as paradise is often tempered by crime,commuting to work...

Sounds like a nice place and is in a nice part of Norfolk too.
