Thank you for the answer. Are the rules always changed once a year on 1st of July? so the rues reflected there are valid until July 1st 2016?

My question is about the 485 temporary graduate visa.

I have a dilemma right now and I hoped someone could help me.

In general, it seems like the trend in CEC was to make it easier....

Yeah it seems like a lot of IT occupations reached the ceiling:

ICT Business and Systems Analysts 1800 out of 1800
Software and Applications Programmers 5160 out of 5160

As for the studies, I am confident I will get good grades.

If I had 0-20% I'd probably not go to Oz.
If it was 50% I would go.

My problem is that I have no figure in mind, people tell me that the odds are "not that good". But does that mean about 50% chance? or 10% chance?...

Hi.

Yes, you definetly need to nominate an occupation. But it just doesn't say anywhere you have to work in that occupation afterward.
I know this is a technicality, but I found some threads...

yes I was accepted and have the student visa.

Hi, it doesn't seem like currently it's that hard to get PR after studying, am I wrong?

It seems like you have the Post Graduate visa, and if you're on the Skilled Occupation List you can later...

I don't want to live in the US.
I think they are pretty similar in that regard, the hard thing will be IMO getting the first job, from their it should be easier

Yes, I do expect that it will be hard, that's a risk I'm willing to take though, I can pretty much do any IT job.

I'm not expecting a forecast of the future.

Hello, I've been accepted to good universities in both Oz and Canada, I love both countries and wherever I go I will probably want to stay after.
After I'll study I'll want to apply stay and work...
