Anybody ever contested a speeding ticket?

I've just been pulled over in Ohio for 'Doing 80' in a 65 zone - it is possible but I genuinely don't think I was going that fast, it was rush hour and there was so much traffic I don't think it's...

Re: NHS prescriptions/Student Loan Company/HMRC

OK. Well it certainly seems like my idea had a good few holes in it, thanks for clearing that up! And thanks for the student loans info, I'll probably just fill in the form, no doubt it will take...

Re: NHS prescriptions/Student Loan Company/HMRC

Thanks for responses so far. I personally don't see a 'moral issue' with the prescription plan at all, I've paid National Insurance for years and will still be a British Citizen, I'd even be willing...

Propery: Lease or Buy?

I can't remember where, but I saw a thing on here about how new expats should rent for a couple of years before they buy property. I can't remember what the reason was, can anybody enlighten me?...

Thanks to for all the replies so far! I'll be sure to investigate further into my healthcare.

I'm not working for a non-profit or a university. Just a regular for profit company. The at least...
