I haven't used kijiji for Job hunting but use Craigslist for your job hunting because I know people that have got jobs from there so don't use that as a last resort as you could get lucky.

Yeh I guess it's easier when you're here because employers want to know you're in the country.

Just put down the address of the hostel and get a canadian number either on the same day you land or the day after, in other words asap!
