Central Versicherunng has a Visitor Tarif up to 90 days for visitors to Germany.

The way I read it, it costs 1.50€ per day and only for people not living permanently in Germany.

Not heard anything up to date but I just get a little UK Pension! They do know about my UK Pension though as it just has been newly worked out when I had to apply for a widows Pension inGermany.

Getting a good, cheap secondhannd car in the Canaries is not easy. They are quite expensive. I don´t think you will get something decent for 1500 €.

I was in the same situation. When I applied for the german State Pension they got in touch with UK (Newcastle). I now get a "few pennies" sent to my german account every 4 weeks (not 1 month).

We are arriving on 8 Sep till 8 Oct also in Bonterra. This time we will be staying in one of the terraced Bungalows having sold our campervan and still love the relaxed way of life on a campingsite....

We live the other 7 months in Germany.

We are registered (green paper ) because of the 90 days but never over 183.We have had NIE since 1992 and have no problems otherwise.:thumbsup:
