Its time for you to call them and ask for the status. The standard waiting time is 12 weeks and its over 15 weeks for you. Flick them an email and you get replies to queries mostly in one working day.

You can submit your masters degree and if the masters degree is exempt from assessment, you don't have to go for NZQA.

I called them twice. They said its a technical fault and they are working on it. However, they asked to wait until 10 to try submitting the application. Meantime, keep checking the website for any...

$200 is the online application fee. You wont be paying anything other than this for the job search visa.

It was NZ$200 last year and guess it hasn't changed. You can use the fee calculator in immigration website to find the fees for your visa.

I am doing it myself and all my contacts have done it themselves without need for an immigration agent / advisor. You get all help from people in this forum. The forums are the best place to find...

Air Asia doesn't fly to Auckland and JetStar has no flights from Malaysia to NZ. Low cost airlines may offer you cheaper fares but has tight restrictions on your baggage allowance and other stuffs....

Which city are you flying out? I checked from Chennai to Auckland and the cheapest I find is in Cathay Pacific and that too until end of September.

You can compare the fares of SQ / CX / MH and...

Don't worry, you will get to know your approval status by an email from the case officer and they might ask you to confirm the address where the passport needs to be despatched.

I checked my application page every 5 minutes for nearly 2 months until I saw the approved status on it. Now I realise how crazy I was awaiting the status update. :D:rofl::lol:

When you get your passport, check for the first entry date. You have to enter NZ before the first entry date. If it is mentioned as 14 May 2013 in that as well, you might ask INZ guys for...

After nearly 8 weeks, my application has been approved today

Never before I had been tested for my patience and INZ has tested it a lot on me and finally awarded with the blue stickers!! Good luck...

I received a call from my case officer today. CO verified about my background, experience, and what I know about NZ, etc. Hope to see some update in the days to come.

My case officer has asked me to send mark sheets of my high school and diploma and also employment offer letters, pay slips, and related documents for proof of employment. Have sent it today. Hoping...
