I know, but the reality is it just means possibly splitting a family up temporarily or missing out on a job, all while with with no income.

I know the law thinks its fair but the reality is not.

I'm not moving because he is a deadbeat Bermuda. He sees my daughter once a year, so its not getting away from him.

We are doing it because there are no jobs in the uk and a potential very good...

Thanks from what I can tell it could take a whopping 10 months to get sorted. Seeing they want my husband to start in July this is awful news.

Thanks! So if I didn't declare I was a non resident landlrd I might get taxed twice? In Britain and Australia?

What if went straight into an Australian account?

There is a chance my husband might be offered a job in Perth.there is no jobs at all for his kind of work in the uk. Infact, many companies are making mass redundancies
