apologies could you explain what a single payer system is? you mean pay at point of use, no insurance or something like the NHS?

A Gp in the USA gets $250k on average more than a GP in the UK (£85k average) what I heard

Read the last few posts views here are strong

I think overall the NHS is better overall for patients but dreadful for the doctors and nurses in it (underpaid and under staffed)
