Re: doggie advice please

Hi Ray, the time for the treatments have now changed and it needs to be more than 24 hours and less than 5 days prior to travelling (not the previous 24 - 48 hours). It makes it a bit easier to plan...

Re: doggie advice please

And now the tapeworm treatment has to be done at least 24 hours before crossing the channel (above it or below it) but no more than 5 days before crossing. It used to be between 24 and 48 hours, but...

Re: doggie advice please

Mags Eddie, we have driven regularly with our rescue Border Collie and have used both Eurotunnel and the ferry. Prefer the tunnel as you stay in the car with our dog which is better for her. Also the...

Re: Les Miserables?

I agree as well! The French neighbours that we have are far more positive than the folks we know in the Uk; just one of the many reasons why we want to be on the french side of La Manche...

Re: Vet nurse job!

I agree - we have never seen a veterinary nurse either on our many trips to the local vet over the past 10 years, just the vets and the receptionist. Not sure how it works in Geneva....

Re: Exterior tiles

We have some areas where we have used outdoor, non-slip tiles which were laid about 7 years ago - they have been fine and have weathered the very cold weather very well (can I say it that way??). We...

Having also had a chat with an immobilier (whom we have known for quite a few years) he has informed us that the property sale can go ahead but there does need to be a...

Re: Going to France - Tenancy Notice in UK

As a landlord in the UK I agree with Cyrian. But most will be reasonable and if they can find another tenant (which should be possible in a month if the property is ok) then they should let you out...
