Thanks, Penguinsix, I feel much more confident about the whole process just from the few replies from the other members....its one worry I don't need but appreciate it is a time consuming process...

Oh, and I have no criminal record (can't afford to with my job!) and have never overstayed in the US (sadly, work calls me back after a few weeks :( )
