I think it depends a lot on the currency you will be paid in...i am considering that since its a short term project,you will be paid in gbp ,but i reckon you talk to a tax man in uk first

Goa happens to be my native place..but its far from the fun beaches out there....full of temples and a real lazy life..so nice to see that my goa is so popular among britons...

Karjat 3 hours drive away from Mumbai.or 3 hour train ride in a local...nice place to hangout..i know some nice cheap resorts there as well as good places to hangout...

if you are a beach...
