I guess the threat of redundancies changes things.
The UK economy will be down in the dumps for the next 2-3 years, so might not be a bad idea to go somewhere where there's growth and investments....

Your can live a pretty pimpin lifestyle in London on £130k as a singleton, so if I was in your position I wouldn't move unless I was getting a substantial uplift to my current package.
