I agree with seasider. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the oil companies need quality electricians, and the oil companies have plenty of $$$. so perhaps there are good interesting jobs...

I don't think that qualified people do these jobs in Singapore and they are also probably paid peanuts.

looking at the floorplan there are 5 bedrooms and one maids room.

This is what got me interested in Penang as there are a few advertised for sing 3k and for a Singaporean that is sooo cheap...

the floor plan of Infinity looks really nice. I like how the family room is away from the main lounge room. That is what kinda gets me with the cove there looks to be a lot of space in that main...

Hi Curiouscat, thanks for the info on JB. I have had trouble finding houses to rent in JB there only seems to be a handful. I looked on fullhouse and found about 5 over 2500 sft and I remember them...

Not sure how old this thread is but Malborough International School opens in August in JB. Seems to be quite a bit of hype about it. Apparently Kate Mddleton attended a "sister" school in the UK

oh dear, reminds me of when cold storage ran out of vegemite for 2 weeks and we had to make do with promite (is that NZ?) I guess we will have to bring lots with us if we come!

From what i have been able to work out from the internet you get better value for money in Penang, JB is suffering a little from being close to Singapore.
