After getting a new passport you have to re-apply the ESTA right? You can't just change your passport...

hmmm. not necessarily too difficult. Although I'm stuck between keeping the internship for my career and going out to my girlfriend.
If I had it my way I'd keep the internship and go to NY tomorrow!

Oh right I understand. So how could this be resolved? Is there a Visa to say I need to be in the US to complete the work?

I'm not the sort of person to push the boundaries if the consequence is me not being aloud to visit my girlfriend again. But out of curiosity, how would they know I was doing those few weeks work?

Turns out I've been granted under the VWP so all the arrest stuff can be put to bed.

So at least I'm going so I can be with my girlfriend for some months of the year.
