Hi Matt-tasha, I don't think I can get a dual passport but the idea behind the 2 passports is sort of the same. My baby will have both a UK and Canadian passport. Not really sure why he needs both...

Gosh, they make it complicated!! I guess I will apply for a Canadian one and then use that if I need to go back to the UK quickly. Then I will apply for a UK one via Washington and just accept that...

Thanks. How would I prove he is a UK citizen? Would it be by showing his birth certificate with us as the parents and then our UK passports? Would that be sufficient?

I am from the UK, living in Vancouver, waiting for my PR application to be (hopefully) approved at the end...
