I hope someone can help. My UK fully vaccinated parents are coming here this summer. They will be in quarantine (if they have to by the time they travel) with my dad's brother first in Alberta before...

Yes we are happy something is happening and going by other forums we should get RPFR in about two weeks time. We can apply for a BOWP a few days before out permit runs out to keep us all in status....

BOWP now asking for proof of funds?

we are applying for a BOWP and an OWP for myself under CEC, (not express entry) as part of the form it's asking for proof of funds.
is my husband looking at the wrong forms?

Still waiting for CEC PR 1yr later.

We applied for our PR via CEC 1yr ago on 28th March. Medicals were done end Oct but we have heard nothing since. Anyone else in the same boat?

That's good, at least they are looking at your file. All our passports are good for a couple of years. Hope you gear back soon.

Thanks Itsasmallworld, We haven't had anything more yet, friends of ours who are going through it at the same time got their medial and RPRF within days of each other. I'm sure we will be soon with...

Yes you are right he is no longer working in Canada. His employer is no longer at the location stated on his current WP which expires 29th April 2015. He would apply onine in Canada and then leave...

My husband was going to apply from our home. He is going to call CIC today and ask for their advice. Hopefully this can be done so he can come home. 13 months is up mid April so we should have our PR...

We have applied for our PR back in March 2014, my husband's employer is no longer at the location on his current WP, we could not get another LMO so he is now in the UK working and is able to do so...

yes you apply online for the bridging work permit and then it's mailed out to you. :)

Yes that is right, he would come home to Canada, file online from the house and then head back to Scotland a day or two later to get back to work. We have had a rough year and looking for some light...

That is what we are hoping is going to happen, we are going to give it until the end of the month and if we hear nothing my husband will come home and apply for the BOWP and then go back to Scotland....

Our situation is that my husband's employer no longer has work for him so he is in Scotland working at the moment because he could not get another LMO to obtain a new work permit to keep him here....
