It does help, thanks. I know I won't get hit with a fine or anything if I forget to mention my wallet but I want everything as quick and smooth as possible. I am hoping to pick up my goods to follow...

That is good to know, but what about things like my wallet? Low intrinsic value, but it isn't really an accessory of something else I am bringing. It is just... my wallet. Does that have to go on...

I think the nearest DHL hub is North Bay, still a good distance from where I will be moving to. Apparently I can get Air Freight for under £1.50/kg so around £200 to ship my life abroad is not...

You probably got someone new or someone who has never dealt with that before. They probably decided better safe than sorry and didn't want to authorise that. If this is the case, they probably should...

Hey,

Just wanted to update anyone searching the same thing as me. I spoke to the Canada Border Agency and they informed me that any holding in bond of items must be done by the shipping company....
