Re: Getting straight to 6th form

She is in year 13 and has done level 2. Thanks so much, I'll talk to her about 6th form colleges instead of high school :)

Re: Irish passport

Yep, usually. Ireland extends its rights of citizenship to the entire island. Until 2005, being married for three years to an Irish citizen meant you could file a postnuptial declaration and...

Re: Opening a bank account

Good luck with that Barb! I emailed HSBC today to enquire about opening a British bank account. Then I can begin transferring over my money, not that there's much of it.

Re: Moving to the UK from Perth for 2 Years

Your boyfriend can't get a UK passport BUT he can apply for a UK Ancestry Clearance, valid for five years, and after 5 years in the UK he can get indefinite leave to remain, then after a year of that...

Re: Moving to Spain 2013

Marbella because I've been there several times, and I would prefer to live somewhere in Andalucia. Also because I preferred it to the cities; the lifestyle is more relaxed.

I'm under no illusions...

I'm looking to go on a holiday for a few months to improve my French. I currently live in New Zealand, moving back to the UK in the next year, so at the moment the South Pacific is the logical choice...

Re: New Member Interested moving to Roscommon County

Pssht the racist/bigoted Irish never change. My grandfather (a native of Belfast) lived in England from 1965-75 and since 1975 has lived in New Zealand. He's still archly anti-Protestant and...

Re: Single woman returning to England?

Re: Uk wife wants to marry before divorced.

You can't really plead ignorance. She'd be charged since the UK and USA recognise each others marriage laws. She would be charged as a bigamist you have to file for divorce and wait for it to come...
