I am on ZIGGO and depending on what they offer in your area you will have some BBC channels. I have digital with ZIGGO and they offer me bbc1,2,3 and 4 and bbc world.

No commercial channels like...

You are not charged for a full year. You are by law required to have a national health insurance from the date you sign up with the city council as an inhabitant of that certain village/city.

Something that just came to mind is that insurers have to accept everyone, regardless of existing medical issues, in fact, I don't think they even ask when you apply.

Yes, you can go to a hospital without seeing a GP first. Normally a GP will refer you when he/she thinks your problem needs further investigation. They will then give you a letter to bring with you...

GP's do do housecalls here in Holland, also after closing time.
If your gp has a small practice they might have hooked up with a practice in the region who will divide the night and weekend shifts....
