We have finally had our 176 SS Visa approved! We have been in Australia on a 457 Visa for 6 months and we have now been told we need to leave the country for 10 working days to activate our PR Visa??...

I had a look at the SOL list that was on the immi website and my occupation is still on it.... I have already had acceptance for state sponsorship as my occupation at the time of application was on...

As my occupation was on the sol list at the time of the application we were told by the agent it put us in priority list 2.... He said it would take 6-9 months to get a case officer which is the bit...

I had a look at the site and I have added my details - I can see other visa's being granted for other states but not for NSW...... didnt know whether that made a difference??

I dont think my occupation is on the CSL - my husband has done most the of the paper work. I am a Financial Advisor...... I havent seen anyone so far on any forums that has a state sponsored 176 Visa...

Question 176 SS NSW Visa Lodged April 2010

I have a 176 SS visa for NSW that was lodged on the 7th April 2010 and I still have not been assigned a case office. Has anyone had a similar Visa approved yet? I really thought I would have heard...
