As an overnight stop it sounds interesting with dreamy menus and apparently the best...

Friendship Beach is good for eating, excellent not all Thai fare,but can't sea swim,although pool is good; mainly for families,usually lots of young.

Stayed there ten years ago, if you like Germans putting towels or plimsoles on the chairs before 6 each morning it's O.K.

The Boathouse ON Kata Beach is best for any age because the food is superb, and you literally step onto the beach from the hotel terraces,and the sea is safe
Kamala is remote and not much choice of...
