Depends where about in Tuscany you are looking to stay, also what you picture as Tuscany. It is coastal as well as mountainous. Lucca has a good number of Britons there, we are in the Pescia area...

chris120, the problem is I cannot have UK plates, too Italian for British insurers and too British for Italian insurers!
I will be seeing if I can have an insurance on it till I am ready to take it...
