fyi - Marks and Spencer used to be there. Sadly, it closed. Boots also used to be there as well....that closed too.

This may be a good start....it's from the perspective of Americans living abroad but may give you some ideas. I don't think it should be a problem but there may be some challenges that you wouldn't...

I second that. I'm not a US citizen but have always invested in a 401k plan.
There may be a probationary period before the employer will match your contribution but I've never heard of them denying...

Hi! I agree with digbydog, since you will be coming out here alone, you should definitely live in nyc - ideally manhattan or brooklyn. It'll make your life much easier as you do not need a car and...
