Re: I-751 Transferred....What Does It Mean?

Just to give hope to the seemingly hopeless, I just heard on another forum of the approval of someone who had filed their I-751 at TSC in late April 2007 and was part of the bulk TSC-VSC transfer at...

Re: I-751... biometric letter received, but no NOA and application redirected to VSC!

All I-751s sent to TSC from about December 1, 2007 through the end of February 2008 were immediately transferred from TSC to VSC. Prior to that, since about July 1, 2007, they had been being...

Re: I-751 Transferred....What Does It Mean?

That would probably make more sense. I can't imagine that they went through these four months' worth of petitions and determined that some of them required interviews, only then to send all of the...

Re: I-751 Transferred....What Does It Mean?

That begs the question: why didn't they just use the same language they used on ours and others? As in:

"On January 31, 2008, we transferred this case CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF...

Re: I-751 Transferred....What Does It Mean?

Our I-751 petition has been transfered as well. So, it seems, have all I-751s that were received at TSC before July 1, when TSC started transferring new petitions to CSC.

Those July 1 and after...

Re: visiting the US while I-130/K-3 are being processed?

Ha ha, I'll print this out and give it to my wife to show to the POE official! (She has *not* had any problems, but I get a little nervous when I see threads like this.)

Re: visiting the US while I-130/K-3 are being processed?

I see one can never get a straight yes or no answer to this question. It seems to be all within the discretion of the POE official.

Re: The Ten-Foot-Pole Question, with a twist

Thanks -- my gut feeling is that there should be no problem with AOS. I just wanted to see if I could reinforce that feeling with some more or less objective feedback.

No trouble at all....

The Ten-Foot-Pole Question, with a twist

Hi all,

I was originally on here last year, I believe, inquiring about whether it would be best to go for the K1 visa for my fiancee or get married while she is here on her B2 and then do AOS.

My understanding is that "cabling" is more or less obsolete, since approved petitions are now sent to the NVC, which forwards the package via DHL or what-have-you nowadays to embassy. At least that's...

As I said, the only thing I would have notarized is the translator's certification. I just translated e-mail correspondence from Spanish to English yesterday, in support of the 129F I'm about to file...

Re: When is the I-129F Denied?

Whew, OK, I feel a little better, thanks -- I told her it needed to be a copy of the actual certificate, so I'm sure that's precisely what she has gotten.

Re: When is the I-129F Denied?

What is "the wrong divorce decree"? I'm preparing my 129-F now and my fiancée is bringing a copy of her divorce decree with her next week (along with a translation and the translator's...

Re: Translations of foreign language documents

BCIS just requires that translated documents be accompanied by a certification from the translator that he or she is "competent" to translate from the foreign language into English. Thus, anybody who...
