I was told that you need to stay at least 6 months in the USA every year otherwise you will lose your green card because it looks like you have no intention to live in the USA.

I've been living in the UK for 9 years now. I used to have an Indonesian passport and tried to apply for US tourist visa 7 years ago and has been rejected.

I'm British now and have a UK passport....
