I have been to the Chastain Office, and as far as I remember,
it is a so-called Application Support Center and all they do there
is take fingerprints.

I understand, but in my case that might turn out to be problematic.
Not in case I would perish before my hubby, I would simply leave everything to him.

OK, so a lawyer - as outsider - might be a wise choice but most likely, expensive.
Distant relative maybe a better choice still?

What about leaving the task of executor to the church preacher?...

If you are on the naturalization track (something I just completed)
then don't do anything yet. At the end of the process, you will be offered
the opportunity to change the spelling...
