i submitted it on 12 july electronically and was granted 1st sept was about so about 7 weeks

Not been to Townsville before but have a fabby mate there who will be my support when we arrive :D

HI
I have the 'in principal' letter and basically it is all you need to be registered but you have to visit an AHPRA office when you arrive in Australia with the letter and visa and they will grant...

yea I am all new to this and have been reading how some peoples visa's have taken almost a year or more!! but im rubbish at waiting haha

I have lodged my own 457 visa 2 weeks ago and was told that i would be assigned a case officer quite quickly but have not be contacted by anyone yet!

I am the main applicant and have lodged my 457 just not sure about medicals with kids and husband, but thanks for that info i have the number for a clinic nearest to me but not sure how many of us...

Thanks Biker girl i see that info and i understand all that i have to do, but how in-depth of a medical do my children need to have if any as they will be going to school?

yes i know but i havent had medicals as i was advised to wait untill i was assigned a C.O. and they would inform me how many of my large family would need to have medicals

HBA (bupa australia) are really good they will call you at a convieniant time and they provide insurance for visa coverage :) hope this helps

i went to my local church who put me in touch with a justice of the peace who signed them all free of charge and so im happy to give a donation to the church..
