My H received his passport with the visa and the mysterious brown envelope today, so that's it really. Phew!

Yar, we just rang and they said he wasn't on the system yet. :o( , we sent the email, nothing to do but wait I guess!

Not yet! The postman didn't even come today! My husband doesn't want to ring the number yet, because he thinks if they tell him something he doesn't want to hear,... his head will explode! lol, but...

Yeah, it was in the self addressed stamped envelope we sent in with the I-130. I was dancing around the flat and ringing my husband all at the same time!
They sent us the approval of petition...

Yep. Filed in London. I know the embassy site has been stuck on Oct. 4th forever. I've been checking it every day obsessively it must be said. That's why it surprised me so much when I came home...

Our filing date was Aug. 6th, and I just got our letter saying that the petition was approved! Whoohooo! Approval of petition Date: October 20th.

We posted our I-130 on 26th of July, they signed for it on the 27th, and we just received the notice of receipt of petition today. So not too bad! I was expecting to wait up to 3 weeks before they...

We just sent off our I-130 yesterday Special Delivery Next Day, and the embassy signed for it this morning at 8am! So just waiting around obsessing now!
