Thanks for the heads up on the area, I had suspected it. We are living in the West Suburbs of Chicago at the moment and its very Stepford Wives! A lot of ultra competitive super scheduled mega fit...

Thank you both for the good advice, hopefully we can find a house in Ridgefield then which was actually my preference anyway. Lets hope some good rental properties come on the the market in the next...

Thank you I will search back on past threads. I had ruled out actually living in Norwalk as the schools don't seem as good as other areas but I will check this again. Our rent will be paid for us...

I am pretty sure we will be moving to Connecticut shortly, we are British but have been in USA for 3 years. We have 2 kids aged 10 and 7 so looking for a good town for families with good schools but...
