I totally agree with you.
I saw him win the Brisbane Open back in January this year and his winning speech was really good and sincere. Our new tennis centre was destroyed in the January floods 2011...

My conclusion as to why Andy is disliked by the English media is that there are an awful lot of English people out who are green with jealousy that Scotland has produced one of the best tennis...

Yes there are more jobs in my field in London/SE and the weather would be much more appealing than Scotland.......:)

I think the biased British media are to blame.
If Wales/Scotland/Ireland were left in it would be simply ignored by the BBC in England.
I don't think Tim Henman was ever asked after a tennis match...
