Im in a very similar position, i too came over to join my man (also from the UK) Im a primary school teacher and have failed miserably to get a job in a school, as my paper work is also not loved...

Thanks! I have been to the pig to watch the footy, my other half is/was obsessed untill last night!!! I couldnt get to the pub last night, I had to work early this morning! Thanks for the advice!
