There used to be an Upim and a Standa in Latina: both closed ooh about ten years ago and were replaced by a cheapo clothing shop and a Benetton respectively.
We do have a ginormous market though.

I buy a lot of my clothes in the UK. Most of the shops here sell clothes in smurf size, which I'm not.

Can't help you with the Milan one - I was teaching a non-academic subject once a week at Monza, so wasn't actually a staff member as such, and didn't get a chance to interact with most of the other...

I used to teach once a week at the International School of Milan at Monza years ago.
Nice place, outside of town a bit in a pleasant residential area, and not far from the hospital if I recall...
