Yes i agree it does seem a long time as our Nomination was approved back in Nov 09 but the visa application itself was not actually lodged until March 15th 2010

No contact from CO until received the 3 page letter via email stating visa was granted :eek::thumbsup:

Well if this is the case Ken ours should be soon, our nomination was approved approx 30th Nov 09......so 6 months was 30th May but as yet not heard anything :fingerscrossed:

If i recall the Aussie certificates took about a week once payment was receipted and UK was about 4 / 5 weeks

I am really starting to think that it makes absolutely no difference what your occupation is if your application has been lodged at the paramatta office...looking at the spreadsheet and it shows

We are currently waiting our PR from 457 visa and yes you will need the Uk police certificates as well. These have changed slightly in the last yr as we had to send with the forms certified passport...

We used Robinsons and didnt have any major issues. we only had about 15 boxes of mainly clothes and personal items. We only brought over 1 bed, 1 TV and a Microwave and a few other random kitchen...

Yes our Nomination was approved back on 30th Nov 2009 but due to xmas & passport renewal delays we didnt do the medicals until Feb this yr. The visa application was received in paramatta on 16th...
