We are very happy back in Blighty. Spent 10 years away ( 5yrs Malaysia, 5 yrs Mid East). Had no real savings plan but Managed to put kids through uni debt free and boosted the old pension fund a bit....

My advise would be not to do 6th form there unless you have to. Moving a teenager is difficult, I know! My daughter did 6th form at a reputable school in Dubai and found it tough. Couldn't get...

Emirates flew our fluff ball to KL from Dubai a year ago no problem. DKC organised it for us.
