i fly and use the ferry back to the Uk regular during the year and they always ask for photo id, alot of airlines including Ryanair want passports now, but flybe and Aerarran dont, ive been asked at...

I got my bank accout from Bank of Ireland before I moved over, all I needed to do was go to the local social welfare office and get a PPS number (same as national insurance number)
