but i need to be working so i can afford to pay for the visa. i have no money which is the reason my parents are wanting us to move back to the uk so they can help us.

thats where we got that idea from, some one else did it that way because you have to show you can support yourselves.

our plan was for her to come over & stay on her passport as a visitor for aslong as she was allowed then for her to go back to america to apply for her spousal visa so i would have time to get a job...

no my wife is just coming over on her passport for now so we can get settled then she is coming back to do her visa

is it easy to get?

atlanta is the nearest consular to me right now, which is probably 2-3 hours away.

my parents are the ones who have to send me money for this & are buying mine & my wifes...

was hoping to be flying back maybe next weekend obviously we've had to rethink that as i will now have to apply for a new passport.

i dont think my passport is packed up as i normally have it on me, its fallen out of my pocket somewhere, we hoped it was here but have turned the house upside down to find it as we were hoping to be...
