I filed my EAD by mail as I didn't wanted to take chance to delay our process any more as SSN depends on how quickly we get our EAD.

Just for safe side, I would mail it to Chicago...

Well, you are right about keeping patient. Speically with Mumbai consulate. Somehow they asked my spouse to take finger print clearance test for K3 without any good reason so we are waiting for it....

Interesting, when I called NVC, they would not even tell me if they have received prints from FBI. Did you call 603 334 0700, option 1 -2 for K3 visa?

I can't get any answer from Mumbai consulate...
