I would have to second Rob's response, we applied for De Facto on grounds that we couldnt live together for full 12 months because of lack of employment for my OH here in Ireland and we were refused,...

Thanks Olly Really appreciate that, my CO said 2-4 months, Agent said it could be sooner so just have to sit and wait it out i guess!!

Anyone granted Prospective Marriage Visa recently?

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has received their PMV in last few weeks? I believe the processing times have increased for Spouse VIsa's - so just wondering if the same applied to PMV?

I would say the Easter Holidays will put an added delay onto applications fromthis week on, hopefully things will speed up after...

Eek that does not sound like an appealing option right now, i had my heart set on being in Oz for my 30th birthday on May 2nd but looks like that might be very wishful thinking :(

I'm only at the begining of my wait, C/O got in touch on 15th March to say she'd received my application.

My agent said initially it would be between 4-6 weeks but they are saying now...

Looks like you had more luck then we did, we have been in a Relationship since October 08, and Living together since June 09 and were refused our De Facto Visa a month ago without even being asked...
