I think it is the case number from NVC. NVC assigns case number to cases when they sent them out to the consulars. See the letter you received from NVC or call them

I just called NVC, they have received it yesterday and they are now in the process of entering it in the system

Did you call them lately to see if yours made it in?

Have anyone has their K 3 approved Lately, and how many days does it take for NVC to receive it?

I have mine approved on July 23, 2003 but still not received by NVC
