A caution is not a crime of moral turpitude (CIMT) so you will be fine. I had a number of offences two involving assualt and still recieved a visa. good luck!

Hi there, yes i know I saw that. Surely it is the official position that is relevant. I knew who my father was also but he wasnt on my BC. rather than complicate the position I put Not Known.

I renewed my damaged UK passport recently and they will add up to 9mths of any unexpired time to the new passport. FWIW...

I am in the same situation, no father on my birth cert. Simply put Not Known on any questions on forms relating to this. I did so on my successful B2 application and this situation is quite common.
