I'm a Provincial Nominee. My PR application went to Buffalo in July 2011, medicals received by CIC in Nov 2011.

I recently asked the BC PNP team about processing work permit extensions at the border and they advised the border don't process extensions anymore and that extensions will only be processed at...

Let us know if you manage to get a reply from Ottawa. All I ever get told is that estimated timelines for applications are on the CIC website...except Ottawa isn't on their list of offices and...

I didn't get any notification either. I eventually got a reply to one of several emails sent to Ottawa confirming my application has been transferred. 25 months seems excessive to have not heard...

I ended up bypassing Vegreville by applying direct at immigration at the airport. Keep us posted on what you hear and when!

So I took 3 approaches to my job hunt and it was, ultimately, a combo of the 3 which led me to getting to my job:

1) Obvious I know, search the job sites and apply for anything and everything...

Maybe QA is the reason behind this. Unfortunately, our letter didn't give a reason and we haven't been able to find out whether it's QA or not.
