I have today received an e-mail from Economy Car Hire to inform me of the 15Euro charge for our trip in April. They are very apologetic and have a link to the airport to make your feelings known....

We have just come back from our main summer holiday and we booked through ECH. We try to book with the same rental company so hence have an account so we can view which company we are dealing with...

It is probably expensive... but Tavira Gardens has car hire facility in their offices on the left as you drive in.

The Quinta do Bispo on the way to Soa Bras has a small pool you can use if you pop in for a snack or meal as well. The owners are really nice and welcoming as well.

Have you tried Tavira Gardens...they do charge if you use the pool but not if you wish to just go and use the bar / restaurant.

We are in our mid-fifties and come over to our apartment a few times a year. When we are over we enjoy relaxing over a meal or drink and exploring the surrounding area.
We visit the Fonte do Bispo...

We go through ECH and Drive 4 fun. The cars have always been clean and well looked after. The last time we went, Oct, the car was only a couple of months old.:D
