It's certainly worth looking into. i've heard of Moneycorp as well (someone from here was telling me about pre-paid credit cards, and I think they did them), so could use them for transfers if need...

Hope you guys can help! I'm landing in Calgary in two weeks for a year's Bunac trip. I will be opening an RBC account the day after I land (hopefully!) but I've managed to thoroughly confuse myself...

The time for my Bunac year in Canada is getting very close (fly out on the 17th September!) and thanks to various sources, not least here, I have a good idea of where I need to stay...

Think I must have missed something there :unsure:

Seems I do indeed need to do a bit more training to have my CIM qualifications count in Canada, so will look to enrol on some evening courses...
