Hi aleruri, what does this mean "checking of the documents normally takes 2 weeks"?

Does it mean, even a case officer is allocated, he/she will begin to check your documents 2 weeks later?

I called DIAC at sydney time 9:pm, and got through to the operator directly.

So I suggest mates to call them at that time if it's appropriate.

I called DIAC one hour ago,
and the operator told me that a CO was assigned to me just TODAY!

But, in recent update, DIAC no longer mentions the 'end of May' deadline.
And I think, infact few of us believe that CSL can be finalize at that time. :frown:

From what I've seen, it's very likely that schedule will be delayed :frown:
It's impossible to assign co to every CSLer before end of May.

I admit it's just rumor, and in fact I'll accept it happily if my case is just delayed weeks or months. You are right, I won't leave just the day after VISA granted.

The only thing I'm worrying...

just anecdotal. or you cannot explain why Mar 2008 applicant still has no CO now, right?

and some guys said, they called the department and got the reply that our occupation Electronics...

I admit that every case is different, and there can not have a strictly time-ordered processing sequence.

But the fact is, lots Electronics engineers who submitted app last March, April
still...

I am an Electronics engineer with low priority ;)

You can take it easy coz Oracle's CSL position is secure I think.
Electronics engineer came into MODL May 2008, So what makes EE anxious

minutes ago I sent out one PLE, pushing them to give a clear answer on Electronics's priority within CSL
