Any ideas! I want it quicker than the furniture will take to get there. Can I pack it and ship it on the plane, or should I send it some other way? According to the manufacturer it will work fine...

I think you should check out the Social Security web site. Im pretty sure you are still entitled to it - check out whether Citizenship affects this. The UK and US have some kind of reciprocal...
